Waiting

Choose your nationality to find out exactly where you stand.

✅ Whatever your nationality, this formality is mandatory before you enter India. A visa or e-Visa may also be required separately depending on your nationality — we'll guide you on this after you apply.

✅ Are you an OCI cardholder? You must also complete this formality for every trip to India — only Indian citizens with an Indian passport are exempt.

Understanding the process

An entry card, not a visa

This entry card brings your travel information and a basic health declaration together in a single digital form — but it does not replace your visa or e-Visa.

Two forms in one

It replaces both the old paper disembarkation card and the Air Suvidha health form, now combined into a single online submission.

This is not a visa

A visa, an e-Visa or a visa on arrival must still be obtained separately if your nationality requires one. This entry card is in addition to it, it does not replace it.

Prepare before departure

You can complete the form online in advance, before your departure, so that your travel information is ready for your arrival.

Don't confuse the two

Need an e-Visa for India?

Most nationalities also need an India e-Visa before travelling — a document separate from this one, issued by the Bureau of Immigration for tourism, business or medical reasons. We can help with both.

What has changed

From the paper card to the digital entry card

The move to fully digital happened in several stages.

1 October 2025

Digital entry card launched

The Indian Bureau of Immigration introduces the digital form as an alternative to the paper disembarkation card, with a transition period.

4 October 2025

OCI cardholders brought into scope

Briefly exempt at launch, OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) cardholders must now also submit it for every trip.

1 April 2026

Paper form permanently discontinued

The paper disembarkation card, handed out on board since the 1960s, is no longer accepted. This digital form becomes the only option.

Frequently asked questions

Everything about the e-Arrival Card India

What is the e-Arrival Card for India?

It is the digital arrival declaration form introduced by the Indian Bureau of Immigration in October 2025. It replaces the paper disembarkation card and the former Air Suvidha health form with a single online submission, mandatory within 72 hours before arrival.

Does it replace my visa or e-Visa?

No. It is an arrival declaration, not a visa. If your nationality requires a visa, e-Visa or visa on arrival, you must obtain it separately, in addition to this form.

Do OCI cardholders have to fill it in?

Yes. Briefly exempt when the system launched on 1 October 2025, OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) cardholders have been subject to this requirement since 4 October 2025, like any other foreign traveller, for every trip.

Who is exempt from this requirement?

Indian citizens travelling on an Indian passport are not affected. Active-duty crew members are also exempt. Every other foreign traveller, whatever their visa, must submit it.

Is it free on the official website?

Yes, entirely. The official portal indianvisaonline.gov.in/earrival and the Su-Swagatam app charge no fees. Our service is an optional paid assistance for travellers who prefer to be guided and have their information checked.

What is the price of the e-Arrival Card India?

The process itself is free on the official portal. The price you see on this page is only for our assistance service (verification, follow-up, support), starting at €59 depending on the level chosen.

When should I fill in this form?

Ideally within 72 hours before landing in India, so your flight details stay accurate and up to date at the check.

Do I need to print it?

No, printing is not mandatory. Your QR code is sent by email and can be shown directly from your phone. You may still print it as a precaution if you wish.

Can I download it as a PDF?

After submission, your confirmation with QR code arrives by email; you can save it as a PDF or screenshot to have it available offline during your flight.

Is there an official app for this process?

Yes. The official mobile app is called Su-Swagatam, available on Android and iOS, with a save-and-resume feature. The form is also accessible from a browser, on computer or mobile.

Is it valid for several trips?

No, it is valid for a single trip. A new submission is required for every entry into India, including for OCI cardholders.

Is India eArrival Card an official Indian government website?

No. India eArrival Card is an independent assistance service, not affiliated with the Indian government. The process can still be completed for free directly on the official Bureau of Immigration portal.

Travel with peace of mind, we take care of the form.
